These pictures of a tiny bud and its life among other creatures in its near perfect habitat is my ode to the concept of Joy and William Blake‘s beautiful poetry.
To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour.
– William Blake
A bud on the verge of blooming, a joyous moment that I was glad to be a witness to. The eternal dance of life played out by the anonymous. This particular capture made it to the top 3% in the recently concluded Nikon photo contest.

About shabnamphoto
I'm a graphic artist with a passion for photography. I like to tell a story with my pictures. Sometimes a picture may speak on its own and at other times it may need an explanation. I'm intrigued by the ordinariness of life and enjoy documenting my life in the light and shadow of what surrounds me. Be it people, landscape, flowers, architecture or birds, the camera helps me see what I wouldn't with my naked eye.
Beautiful flowers and their natural colours , are breath taking . Happy bday Uttam , it’s been ages since we chatted

My fave is the lizard on the side of the log. I could see that in Nat Geo.

It’s very funny how he made an appearance soon after the green one had gone, almost as if waiting for me to take his pic (maybe he’s a she!)
